Eastern Washington Office

WA

Our main office is at 20427 N Spotted Rd in Deer Park, about 25 minutes north of downtown Spokane, so Spokane County is home turf for us. We have been locating underground utilities here since 2002. If you are digging anywhere in Deer Park, Spokane, Spokane Valley or the surrounding county, we can have a technician on site to mark what is buried before you break ground.

From this office we cover private utility locating, verification of the public 811 marks, ground penetrating radar and concrete scanning, electrical fault locating, water leak detection, camera inspection, drone video inspection and RTK data collection.

Ground conditions around Spokane

Much of the Spokane Valley sits on the coarse gravel and cobble left by the Missoula Floods, the deposits that form the Spokane Valley-Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer. That material scatters radar signal and limits how deep ground penetrating radar stays useful. Our reports from this area regularly note rocky soil, heavy compaction and rebar reducing GPR returns, and dry ground giving poor grounding for electromagnetic work. Metal content in the soil can also prevent magnetic locating from isolating individual targets. Frost-free hydrants and buried irrigation on acreage are common finds out from town.
